Dr. Lauren Young
Dr. Lauren Young is the newest addition to the Huffard Animal Team. She is originally from Poplarville, Mississippi, a very small town in the deep south. She obtained her B.S. Degree in 2003 and her D.V.M. degree in 2006, both from Mississippi State University. After graduation, Lauren decided to leave the south to explore a new place. She landed at Huffard Animal Hospital in July 2006 and has been ever since. The Annapolis area has been a great second home for her. While Dr Young has a love of all animals, she is especially fond of the purring and sometime finicky feline species. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, meeting new people, exercising, or just relaxing at home with her cat Hera.
