Huffard Animal Hospital: The ultimate in boarding luxury and hospitality for your treasured pets

Huffard Animal Hospital is proud to announce the opening of our 5 star boarding resort. Each pet will experience our first class accommodations and individual attention. We believe all pets are special and designed our resort to be your pet's home away from home. Our hospital and kennel is staffed 24 hours a day and a Veterinarian is on call 24 hours a day.

Your pet can be checked into our resort as early as7:30 in the morning or as late as 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 3 pm Saturdays, and Sunday 9 am - 10 am and 7 - 8 pm.

High quality care and rigid standards of cleanliness are maintained through strict daily regimens. All dogs are checked for ticks and fleas upon arrival and any dog showing signs of either will be treated immediately with frontline spray before entering the kennel area.

For our Feline Friends:
You may choose from one of three boarding accommodations:

Feline Efficiency Kennel: This is a top floor kennel offering two levels and a sheepskin bed.
Feline Deluxe Kennel: This is a larger kennel allowing for jumping, increased movement and play, as well as a second floor for lounging on a sheepskin bed.
Luxury Kitty Condos: We offer a six floor luxury condo complete with 4 poster bed, and hidden litter pan for the most modest of kitties. Whether you choose the PawsMahal, the Purradise Inn, the Furmont, the Plaza DeMeow, LeMansion Defluff, LeChateau De Whiskers, Le Royal Paws, or the Grand Mew, you can rest easy knowing your kitty is enjoying our ultimate resort to the cat's meow.

All cats must have current vaccinations against:

Feline viral rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panluekopenia (distemper), and Rabies

For Our Doggie Guests:
All resort areas are climate controlled and come complete with a sheepskin bed. You may choose from the following kennel options:
1. small kennel 2. medium kennel 3. large kennel 4. extra large kennel

If you prefer your dog stay in larger accommodations with increased space for movement and play, you may choose from our 4 ft and 5 ft indoor runs. We also offer larger indoor/outdoor runs with a doggie door to an inside run, allowing for the greatest movement and fresh air play.

Feeding: In order to maintain your dog's normal feeding routine, we will feed your dog according to your specifications. We provide clean food and water bowls daily and provide a high quality pet food. Special diets can be fed if supplied. (Refrigeration and microwave available.)

Walking: All dogs are taken outside for potty breaks four times daily.

Medications: Special medications can be administered, if supplied. There is a daily fee.

For administration of medications, vitamins, and heartworm preventatives, if supplied, will be given at no charge. A daily checklist is used to monitor your pet's appetite, elimination and medications.

Illness: You can rest easy knowing that your pet is staying in a resort, where a veterinarian is quickly available. Should your pet become sick during it's stay, a doctor will examine your pet immediately, Medical treatment will be started to insure the health of your pet and we will notify you, or your designated emergency contact as soon as possible. Please make sure you leave us an emergency contact number.

Additonal Pooch Pampering available during your puppies stay:
Yuppie Puppie Gymborie $5.00 for 10 - 15 minutes.
This play time is designed to be an individual, highly exciting period of play with one of our trained technicians. There will be things to climb on, things to jump over, things to run through and toys to play with. These items help build confidence and exercises your special friend in a fun and interesting new way. This individual attention will end with a pat and a snack.

Pampered Pets Plus: $10.00 for a 15 - 20 minute session.
Let your pooch become a member of our pampered pets plus club. Your dog will be individually escorted into the quiet training center, given mild play time and cuddling from a trained technician. This will then be followed with a calming and relaxing massage. This pampering will also end with a special snack. Oh to be a dog!

Canine Medical Requirements:

Dogs must be 6 months of age or older
All dogs must have current vaccinations against:
Distemper
Hepatitis
Leptospirosis
Parainfluenza
Parvovirus
Bordetella (kennel cough)
Rabies

Fees:
Rates are charged by the number of nights stay. All fees must be paid at time of pick up. New clients or those requiring an extended time of boarding will be required to leave a deposit.

Reservations:
A reservation must be made to guarantee a space for your pet. In order to meet the needs of our clients we have quadrupled the number of boarding kenels in our resort, but still recommend making reservations for holidays in a timely manner. You can also request reservations through your "PET PORTAL"
