Appointments
Patients are seen on an appointment basis for the best interest of your pet. This allows sufficient time for the proper medical care of all our patients. Like people, pets do not synchronize their illnesses with our appointment book. An occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please recognize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. A phone call is appreciated if an appointment needs to be rescheduled. At Huffard Animal Hospital, we would like you to meet all our dedicated veterinarians. However, if you prefer to see a particular doctor, please inform the receptionist when making your appointment.

Visiting hospitalized pets
Visitation of hospitalized pets is allowed and often times encouraged. Please call ahead to arrange a convenient time.

After-hours services
We have a Veterinary Assistant supervising your pet 24 hours a day. In case of an after-hours emergency, please call (410) 768-3620 for referral to one of the two emergency clinics in the area.

Boarding
Huffard Animal Hospital offers boarding facilities for dogs and cats as a service to our clients. Spacious indoor cages and runs, as well as outdoor runs, are available, designed with your pet's comfort in mind. Your pet's quarters are cleaned and sanitized several times a day and all dogs are exercised four times daily. Our caring, highly-trained staff pamper your pets with individual attention to make them happy, so you remain worry-free while away.

Payment
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We make every effort to make sure our fees are fair and reasonable. They are based on the financial demands of maintaining modern facilities and a professional staff. Please feel free to discuss charges before services are rendered. We will provide a written estimate upon request. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
